Lusófona University, recognized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education in 1998, is the largest private university in Portugal and integrates 10 higher education institutions in Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique and Guinea ¬Bissau. In the project ULHT participates with the Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies (CICANT), from the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI) and with the Translation and Languages Office (GTL) ECATI combines graduate and advanced training, research and services provision to the community, with the promotion of cultural and scientific activities in connection with civil society. The highly flexible, rigorous and integrated research strategy of ECATI aims to prepare students to respond creatively to the challenges of the information and knowledge society. CICANT promotes theoretical and applied research on all its subject areas: New Media and New Technologies, Organizational Communication, Arts and Visual Culture and Cultural and Media Studies. The center gives focus to knowledge transfer and exchange with industry and similar centers in Portugal and in Europe at the cross of media, arts, culture and technologies. GTL provides high quality translation services from and to a wide variety of languages. GTL has also collaborated with Research Centers and contributes to Lusófona’s international prominence in a broad spectrum of scientific areas, namely, economics and management, law, social and human sciences, communication and marketing, health sciences, among others. The language courses offered at GTL represent a multicultural opportunity to all those who are interested in learning a new language.
Transportation Services Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School is a state school that provides vocational education at the secondary level, with students aged 14-18, from 9th to 12th grade. While students receive education in the vocational technical education curriculum especially for logistics and foreign trade, they also receive education in the fields of science, mathematics, social sciences, foreign languages, art and music in accordance with the national education curriculum. Our school, with the aim of increasing the awareness of vocational education by the Ministry of National Education in 2018; is one of Turkey’s 20 qualified schools opened to provide education in the field of Logistics and Foreign Trade within the scope of the branded Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools “THEMATIC –PROJECT SCHOOL”, which has job opportunities in the city where it was opened, it also plays a role in providing the trained qualified workforce needed in the sectors with a future. Our school, which has student registration with the central examination system, continues its educational activities with a total of 360 students, 30 teachers, 5 administrators, 7 support personnel, 300 students in the Transportation Area Logistics Branch, 60 students in the Accounting Finance Area and Foreign Trade Branch. It was established on 17 acres of land in Mersin province Mezitli District Esenbağlar Neighborhood. Our school serves our students with its 24 classrooms, information technologies and science laboratories, logistics workshop, Art/Music Workshops, Conference and Sports Halls, library, central air conditioning system, and education building that provides barrier-free transportation. Away from the noise of the city; with football, basketball and volleyball courts; It is a perfect education campus with its garden with olive and citrus trees. In the boys’ hostel with a capacity of 100 people located in the garden of our school; We offer a home environment to our students with rooms for 4 people, a resting-television room, a library, study rooms and social areas. For our students who have participated in field and sector trips since the 10th grade, who have taken workshop and laboratory courses and who have field knowledge, 40 workdays internship opportunities are provided in the 11th grade summer terms, within the scope of the law no. 3308. Our school, which is an eTwinning school in 2021, has been awarded the national and European quality label. Our school aims to educate its students with European standards of teaching methods. Students are encouraged to participate in European projects. The more socially integrated they have with the rest of Europe, the more they will be able to integrate with the rest of Europe. Our students are interested in local and international social events. They take part in sporting events, youth and science projects. Teachers also have a variety of abilities to work in school, such as having better teaching skills, being assertive, and being proficient in their profession. The school has a high technology standard. Since they consider it an obligation for them to be a candidate country for the European Union, they attach great importance to expanding the integration of themselves, their city and their country with Europe. The strategic plan of the school aims to equip our teachers and students with 21st century skills. In order to raise awareness for a sustainable future and a sustainable world in our school, eTwinning, Erasmus+, Tübitak projects are produced and participated in projects in the fields of zero waste, clean environment, clean water, clean world, climate and sustainability.

The aim of this school is to donate students not only with academic subjects but also with religious and moral themes. The school aims to educate the students with European standards of teaching methods. The students are encouraged to attend the European projects. The more they have social integration with the rest of Europe the more they will be capable of integrating with the rest of Europe. The students are interested in local and international social events. They are involved in sports events, youth and science projects. The teachers also have a variety of capabilities such as having better teaching skills, being sociable and experts in their professions to work at the school. The school has a high standard of technology. It gives great importance to extend the integration of itself, its city and its country with Europe because they think that as a candidate country to the European Union it is a must for them. It has participated in many regional and national Works and competitions. Since our school was opened, we have given importance to technological issues. There is a big STEAM Lab in our school. Students have been learning STEAM for four years. So far, two Erasmus+ Projects have been carried out about STEAM and coding. In the strategic plan of the school, it is aimed to enable our teachers and students to acquire the skills of the 21st century. That’s why we would like to carry out activities to make all teachers and students of our school more aware of the importance of AI and to provide them adequate information about what we can do as normal people.
Runstensskolan is in the center of Haninge municipality within the Stockholm region in Sweden. The school has around 400 pupils in total and around 50 members of staff. The pupils (~400) are in years F-6 (6–12 year-olds). Many are from different nationalities with many different languages, and are supported in their native language as well as in Swedish as a second language.
Hence, we have teachers who work solely with Swedish as a second language as well as provide study guidance in the pupils’ native languages, the latter is provided by the school and conducted after school hours. Pupils are taught and assessed according to the criteria based on the Swedish National Curriculum[1], e.g., Swedish or Swedish as a second language, English, mathematics, social and natural science, sport, technology, art, music, and crafts. In year 6 they are optioned with an additional language. They may choose between Spanish, German or French. They also have home economics.
